The 把 construction and talking about chores
把 construction: 把 + object + verb + result Use 把 (bǎ) to emphasize what happened to an object as a result of an action.
- 我把碗洗了。(Wǒ bǎ wǎn xǐ le.) — I washed the dishes (got them clean).
- 请把垃圾倒掉。(Qǐng bǎ lājī dào diào.) — Please throw out the trash.
- 我把房间打扫干净了。(Wǒ bǎ fángjiān dǎsǎo gānjìng le.) — I cleaned the room (until it was clean).
Frequency expressions
- 每天 (měitiān) — every day
- 每周 (měi zhōu) — every week
- 一周一次 (yī zhōu yī cì) — once a week
- 有时候 (yǒushíhòu) — sometimes
Example: 我每天做饭。(Wǒ měitiān zuòfàn.) — I cook every day.
表达
- 今天轮到你洗碗了。Saying it is someone's turn to wash dishes
- 我每周打扫一次房间。Saying you clean your room once a week
- 你能帮我倒垃圾吗？Asking for help taking out the trash
- 我已经把衣服洗了。Saying you have already done the laundry
常见错误
我洗了把碗。我把碗洗了。把 always comes before the object not after the verb
我把房间打扫。我把房间打扫了。把 construction needs result complement or 了 after verb
我每天一次打扫。我每天打扫一次。Frequency (一次) follows the verb not precedes it
