Describing a walk in nature in Russian involves landscape words, weather descriptions, and the invitation structure давай + imperfective infinitive.
Inviting someone — давай + infinitive
- Давай пойдём на прогулку! — Let's go for a walk!
- Давай посидим на поляне. — Let's sit in the glade.
- Давай поднимемся на холм. — Let's climb the hill.
Note: давай + perfective infinitive = "let's do it (once)", + imperfective = ongoing action.
Describing scenery — adjective + noun
- красивый пейзаж — beautiful scenery
- свежий воздух — fresh air
- тихая тропа — quiet trail
- высокий холм — tall hill
Weather during a walk
- Сегодня облачно. — It's cloudy today.
- Светит солнце. — The sun is shining.
- Дует лёгкий ветер. — A light breeze is blowing.
Tip: Use the instrumental case to describe what you are walking along: идти по тропе (to walk along the trail), идти по лесу (to walk through the forest).

Давай идти на прогулку!Давай пойдём на прогулку!After давай, use the 1st person plural verb form (пойдём), not the infinitive, when inviting someone to do something together.
Я иду по тропа.Я иду по тропе.After the preposition по (along / through), nouns take the dative case: тропа → тропе.
Посмотри на красивый закат.Посмотри на красивый закат. ✓This is correct. Закат is masculine, so красивый stays in the masculine accusative form — no change needed here.
Здесь очень тихо и спокойная.Здесь очень тихо и спокойно.Short predicates describing impersonal states (it is quiet, it is peaceful) use the neuter adverb form: тихо, спокойно — not adjective endings.
Мы слышим пение птица.Мы слышим пение птиц.Пение птиц means the singing of birds — птиц is the genitive plural of птица. The singular птица would be grammatically wrong here.
