- 격식체 (formal): 합쇼체 endings (-습니다/습니까), nominalized predicate constructions

Advanced Grammatical Patterns to Master
- -(으)ㄹ수록 … -(으)ㄹ수록: the more … the more
- -는 바람에: because of (unexpected cause, often negative)
- -고 말다: to end up doing (completed, often regrettable)
