Korean cafés are very popular. Here is how to order drinks and pay.
Ordering at the counter:
- 아메리카노 한 잔 주세요 → One americano please
- 따뜻하게요, 아니면 차갑게요? → Hot or cold?
- 따뜻하게 주세요 → Hot please
- 차갑게 주세요 → Cold please
Useful counter 잔 (cup/glass):
- 커피 한 잔 (one cup of coffee), 두 잔 (two cups)
Paying:
- 계산해 주세요 → Please give me the bill
- 얼마예요? → How much is it?
- 카드로 할게요 → I will pay by card
- 현금으로 할게요 → I will pay cash
