Asking for Products
Queria… (I would like…) — polite way to ask:
- *Queria meio quilo de tomates.* — I'd like half a kilo of tomatoes.
- *Queria um bocado de queijo.* — I'd like a bit of cheese.
Pode dar-me…? (Can you give me…?) — polite request:
- *Pode dar-me dois pães?* — Can you give me two loaves of bread?
