Structuring a speech in Spanish follows the introducción-cuerpo-cierre model with advanced transitions. The gancho (hook) captures attention: a surprising anécdota, a pregunta retórica, or a striking statistic. For example: "¿Sabían que el 70% de las decisiones se toman en los primeros 5 segundos?" Advanced transitions connect ideas: "Dicho esto..." (that said), "Ahora bien..." (now then), "En este orden de ideas..." (along these lines). The cuerpo (body) develops 2-3 main points. Each point follows: claim → evidence → example. The cierre (closing) must create lasting impact. Return to the initial hook or issue a call to action: "Les invito a reflexionar sobre..." These rhetorical hooks keep the audiencia engaged throughout.
