"Me siento" + adjective

To describe how you feel, use sentirse (to feel) with an adjective:

Me siento bien. → I feel well.
Me siento mal. → I feel bad.
Me siento cansado/cansada. → I feel tired.
Me siento mareado/mareada. → I feel dizzy.

Remember: the adjective must agree with your gender (masculine -o, feminine -a).

"Tengo" + symptom

Many symptoms in Spanish use tener (to have), not "ser" or "estar":

Tengo fiebre. → I have a fever.
Tengo tos. → I have a cough.
Tengo gripe. → I have the flu.
Tengo dolor de cabeza. → I have a headache.
Tengo dolor de estómago. → I have a stomachache.

Example: "Doctor, me siento mal. Tengo fiebre y tos." → "Doctor, I feel bad. I have a fever and a cough."
Example: "¿Tiene usted dolor de cabeza?" → "Do you have a headache?" (formal)

Estar, not ser, is used for temporary conditions like being sick

Necesito ver a un médico.
The personal a is required before a person: ver a un médico
~~Tengo calor y tos.~~
Tengo fiebre y tos.
Tengo calor means I am hot (temperature), not I have a fever; use tengo fiebre
~~Me siento bueno.~~
Me siento bien.
Bueno means good (character); use bien for feeling well
~~Necesito ir a el médico.~~
Necesito ir al médico.
