In Spanish, questions always start and end with question marks: ¿...? The opening mark is upside-down.

¿Cómo te llamas? → What is your name? (literally: "How do you call yourself?")
¿Qué es esto? → What is this?

Note: cómo (with an accent) is used in questions. Without the accent, como means "like" or "as."

Spanish has explicit subject pronouns, but they are often omitted because the verb ending already shows the person:

Example: "¿Cómo te llamas?" — "(Yo) me llamo Ana." → "My name is Ana."
Example: "Él se llama Pedro." → "His name is Pedro."

The verb llamarse is reflexive. At A1, just memorize: me llamo (I'm called), te llamas (you're called), se llama (he/she is called).

Llamarse is reflexive. You need the pronoun me before llamo.

When asking you, the verb must match tú: llamas, not llamo.

Do not mix ser and llamarse. Use one or the other: Soy Pedro or Me llamo Pedro.

The pronoun él (he) needs an accent to distinguish it from el (the).
~~¿Cómo tu llamas?~~
¿Cómo te llamas?
Llamarse uses reflexive pronouns: me, te, se. Use te, not tú.
