Checking into a hotel in a Spanish-speaking country requires a few key phrases. Knowing how to confirm a reservation and ask for information will make your stay much smoother.
Tengo una reserva
When you arrive, tell the receptionist:
- Tengo una reserva a nombre de García → I have a reservation under the name García
- He reservado una habitación doble → I booked a double room
Asking for information
Useful questions at the front desk:
- ¿A qué hora es el desayuno? → What time is breakfast?
- ¿En qué piso está mi habitación? → What floor is my room on?
- ¿Dónde está el ascensor? → Where is the elevator?
- ¿A qué hora es la salida? → What time is check-out?
- ¿Tiene wifi? → Do you have wifi?
