Walking in Nature in Polish

Location prepositions with locative:

*w lesie* — in the forest
*nad jeziorem* — by the lake (nad + instrumental)
*na górze* — on the mountain
*w dolinie* — in the valley

Movement prepositions with accusative:

*do lasu* — into the forest (genitive)
*nad jezioro* — to the lake (accusative)
*na górę* — up the mountain

Describing nature:

*Widok jest piękny* — The view is beautiful
*Słyszę śpiew ptaków* — I hear birdsong (genitive plural)
*Trasa jest trudna/łatwa* — The route is difficult/easy
