  In formal negotiation Korean, 다음과 같습니다 (as follows) is more professional than 이렇습니다 (it is like this).

• ✗양해하세요
  ✓양해해 주시기 바랍니다

  양해하세요 is too abrupt for a formal setting; 양해해 주시기 바랍니다 is the appropriate deferential form.

• ✗합의를 찾읍시다
  ✓합의점을 찾아 보도록 하겠습니다

  찾읍시다 is an outdated volitional form; use 찾아 보도록 하겠습니다 for polished formal speech.

• ✗협상이 잘 안 됩니다
  ✓협상에 어려움이 있습니다

  잘 안 됩니다 is too colloquial; 어려움이 있습니다 (there are difficulties) is more appropriate in negotiations.

• ✗우리가 원하는 건 타협이에요
  ✓저희가 원하는 것은 상호 합의입니다

  우리/건 and -에요 are too informal for formal negotiations; use 저희/것은 and 합쇼체 (-입니다).
