# Explaining symptoms in Korean
Use -이/가 아프다 to say something hurts:
- 머리가 아파요. → My head hurts.
- 배가 아파요. → My stomach hurts.
For ongoing symptoms use -(으)ㄴ 것 같다 (seems like):
- 열이 있는 것 같아요. → I think I have a fever.
Duration with -부터 -까지:
- 어제부터 오늘까지 기침이 났어요. → I've had a cough from yesterday to today.
At the doctor say: 이런 증상이 있어요 (I have these symptoms), 언제부터 아팠어요? (When did it start hurting?), 어디가 제일 아파요? (Where does it hurt the most?)
Practice these sentences to be ready for real medical situations in Korea.
