よくある間違い

• ✗Let's begin the meeting of today
  ✓Let's begin today's meeting

  英語では所有格（today's meeting）を使います。"the meeting of today"は不自然です。

• ✗I resume the action points
  ✓Let me summarise the action points

  "resume"は「再開する」という意味です。要約するには"summarise"（英）または"summarize"（米）を使います。

• ✗Does anyone wants to add something?
  ✓Does anyone want to add anything?

  "does"の後の動詞は原形（-sなし）です。疑問文では"anything"を使います。

• ✗We must to finish before 3 PM
  ✓We must finish before 3 PM

  "must"は助動詞なので、後に"to"は付きません。"must finish"が正しい形です。

• ✗Can we discuss about this issue?
  ✓Can we discuss this issue?

  discussは直接目的語を取る他動詞で、aboutは不要です。

  suggestの後はto不定詞ではなく動名詞が続きます。
