Per confrontare banche, offerte o prezzi, avrai bisogno dei comparativi e superlativi.
Comparativo (più... di)
- Aggettivi brevi: + *-er than* → *This bank is cheaper than that one.*
- Aggettivi lunghi: *more + agg + than* → *This account is more flexible than a savings account.*
- Irregolari: *good → better / bad → worse / far → further*
Superlativo (il più...)
- Aggettivi brevi: *the + agg + -est* → *This is the lowest interest rate.*
- Aggettivi lunghi: *the most + agg* → *It's the most convenient option.*
- Irregolari: *good → the best / bad → the worst*
Esempi bancari:
- *Online banks offer higher interest rates than high-street banks.*
- *This mortgage has the most competitive rate on the market.*
- *Their fees are lower than the national average.*
Consiglio: Per le offerte finanziarie, usare il superlativo mostra fiducia: *"We offer the best rates in the UK."*
