Aggettivi brevi (1 sillaba) → the + aggettivo + est
- big → the biggest → il/la più grande
- fast → the fastest → il/la più veloce
- old → the oldest → il/la più vecchio/a
"The Shard is the tallest building in London."
Aggettivi lunghi (2+ sillabe) → the most + aggettivo
- interesting → the most interesting
- expensive → the most expensive
- beautiful → the most beautiful
"The Tube is the most convenient way to get around."
Superlativi irregolari
- good → the best → il/la migliore
Struttura completa
Soggetto + verbo + the + superlativo + in/of + gruppo:
"This is the cheapest route in the city."
"It's the best museum of the trip." → "È il museo migliore del viaggio."
