💬 Esempio: "The bank is next to the supermarket." → "La banca è accanto al supermercato."
Le tre preposizioni più utili per orientarsi:
- next to = accanto a
- between = tra, fra
- opposite = di fronte a
💬 Esempio: "The pharmacy is between the bakery and the bank."
💬 Esempio: "The bus stop is opposite the school."
"Where is...?" oppure "Excuse me, where is...?"
💬 Esempio: "Excuse me, where is the station?"
- Go straight. = Vai dritto.
- Turn left / Turn right. = Gira a sinistra / Gira a destra.
- Cross the street. = Attraversa la strada.
💬 Esempio: "Go straight, then turn left at the traffic lights."
Espressioni

Go to the leftTurn left / Go leftNon si dice "go to the left" per un'indicazione. Si dice "turn left" o "go left".
It's in front of the bankIt's opposite the bank"In front of" vuol dire "davanti" (proprio di fronte).
Where is the bank? It is in the left. It's on the left.Si dice "on the left", mai "in the left". La preposizione è sempre "on".
Go right on the traffic lightsTurn right at the traffic lightsSi usa "at" (non "on") per un punto preciso, e "turn" (non "go") per un cambio di direzione.
The pharmacy is next the bankThe pharmacy is next to the bank"Next" da solo non basta. Ci vuole sempre "next to".
Where is the more near bank?Where is the nearest bank?"Near" è un aggettivo corto: forma il superlativo regolarmente con "-est" (nearest), non con "more".
