To tell travel stories in Russian, use the past tense and sequence words: Сначала мы полетели в Москву (First we flew to Moscow), Потом мы посетили Эрмитаж (Then we visited the Hermitage), Наконец мы вернулись домой (Finally we returned home). For superlatives add самый before the adjective: самый красивый город (the most beautiful city), самое интересное место (the most interesting place). To share impressions say Мне больше всего понравился… (I liked … the most) with the noun in nominative.

When narrating a story as a sequence of completed events, use perfective verbs: полетели, посетили
