Getting Around a City in Polish

Asking for and giving directions:

Gdzie jest...? = Where is...?
Proszę iść prosto. = Please go straight ahead.
Proszę skręcić w lewo/prawo. = Please turn left/right.
To jest na rogu. = It is on the corner.
To jest niedaleko. = It is not far.

Superlatives for describing places:

najlepszy = the best
najpiękniejszy = the most beautiful
największy = the biggest
najbliższy = the nearest
najsławniejszy = the most famous

Example: Największy plac to Plac Defilad. = The biggest square is Parade Square.
