Example: 이 결과는 다양한 요인에 의해 영향을 받을 수 있다. (These results may be influenced by various factors.)
The passive form 추정되다 (to be estimated/assumed) is essential in formal writing: 약 30%가 영향을 받을 것으로 추정된다. For tendencies: -는 경향이 있다 (there is a tendency to). To express partial scope: 일부 + noun or 대체로 for broad generalizations.
Combining hedges: 일반적으로, 이러한 현상은 다소 복잡한 것으로 추정된다. (Generally, such phenomena are estimated to be somewhat complex.) Mastering these patterns signals academic maturity and careful reasoning.
