Making an appointment in Italian

Combining day and time

In Italian, you say the day + "alle" + the time:

lunedì alle 10 → Monday at 10
venerdì alle 15:30 → Friday at 3:30 pm
martedì mattina → Tuesday morning

Asking about availability

È libero/a lunedì? → Are you free on Monday?
Ha un appuntamento disponibile? → Do you have an available slot?
Quando è disponibile? → When are you available?

Confirming and cancelling

Confermo l''appuntamento → I confirm the appointment
Devo annullare l''appuntamento → I need to cancel the appointment
Posso rimandare a venerdì? → Can I postpone to Friday?

Making a doctor''s appointment

Vorrei un appuntamento dal dottore → I would like a doctor''s appointment
Per quando? → For when?
Va bene giovedì? → Is Thursday okay?

To address someone politely, use the Lei form (È, not Sono)

Days of the week don't take a preposition when referring to the next one

Vorrei spostare il mio appuntamento.
"Spostare" is the correct verb to reschedule, not "cambiare"
