आप्रवासन की चर्चा में अक्सर सार्वजनिक हस्तियों, राजनेताओं या आधिकारिक स्रोतों के कथन उद्धृत किए जाते हैं। B2 स्तर पर reported speech में कालों के सटीक परिवर्तन आवश्यक हैं।
- वर्तमान → Preterite: "We welcome all refugees." → She said they welcomed all refugees.
- Preterite → Past perfect: "People fled the conflict." → He reported that people had fled the conflict.
- भविष्य → Conditional: "We will reform policy." → They promised they would reform policy.
- Modals: "We must act." → She insisted that they had to act.
