Expressing interest: me interesa...
To say you are interested in something, use interesar (it works like gustar):
- Me interesa la tecnología. → I'm interested in technology.
- Me interesan los cursos en línea. → I'm interested in online courses.
Use interesa for singular nouns and interesan for plural nouns.
Example: "Me interesa mucho la formación continua." → "I'm very interested in continuing education."
Expressing wishes: me gustaría + infinitive
To politely say what you would like to do, use me gustaría + infinitive:
- Me gustaría aprender programación. → I would like to learn programming.
- Me gustaría hacer un taller de cocina. → I would like to do a cooking workshop.
Other persons:
- yo → me gustaría
- tú → te gustaría
- él/ella → le gustaría
- nosotros → nos gustaría
- ellos/ustedes → les gustaría
Example: "¿Te gustaría hacer un curso en línea?" → "Would you like to take an online course?"
Expressing goals
To talk about objectives, combine these structures:
- Mi objetivo es + infinitive → My goal is to...
- Mi objetivo es lograr el certificado B2. → My goal is to achieve the B2 certificate.
- Quiero + infinitive → I want to...
- Quiero desarrollar nuevas habilidades. → I want to develop new skills.
Example: "Mi objetivo es mejorar mi inglés este año." → "My goal is to improve my English this year."

Me intereso en la tecnología.Me interesa la tecnología.Interesar works like gustar: the thing is the subject. Use me interesa, not me intereso.
Me gustaría de hacer un curso.Me gustaría hacer un curso.Me gustaría is followed directly by the infinitive without the preposition de.
Quiero lograr mi objetivo este año.Quiero lograr mis objetivos este año.If you have multiple goals, objetivos must be plural and the possessive becomes mis.
Estoy haciendo un curso de en línea.Estoy haciendo un curso en línea.En línea means online and does not require the preposition de before it.
He hecho mucha progreso.He hecho mucho progreso.Progreso is masculine, so the adjective must be mucho, not mucha.
