常见错误

• ✗Я не знаю, ли он придёт.
  ✓Я не знаю, придёт ли он.

  The particle «ли» must come directly after the verb in indirect yes/no questions: придёт ли он. Placing «ли» at the start of the clause (like English "if/whether") is incorrect in Russian.

• ✗Возможно, что он придёт.
  ✓Возможно, он придёт.

  'Возможно' does not require 'что' — it modifies the entire clause directly without a subordinator.

• ✗Скорее всего, что они опоздают.
  ✓Скорее всего, они опоздают.

  'Скорее всего' is a parenthetical adverb and does not introduce a clause with 'что'.

• ✗Я сомневаюсь в том, что он прав.
  ✓Я сомневаюсь, что он прав.

  'Сомневаться в том, что' is redundant in modern usage — 'что' alone introduces the doubt clause.

  'Насколько я понимаю' is a parenthetical and does not take 'что' to introduce the main clause.
