英语即兴表达的聪明连接语
当你实时说英语时，无法把一切都提前规划好。母语者会使用聪明的填充语：这些表达让他们有时间思考，同时仍显得条理清楚。
思考标记
- That’s an interesting point...：在棘手的问题后争取思考时间。
- Let me think about that for a moment...：直接、诚实，而且完全可以接受。
- Well, the thing is...：引出细微差别或经过控制的犹豫。
通过改述继续推进
当你一时理不清思路时，改述是很有力的工具：
- What I’m trying to say is...：把你的表达拉回重点。
- In other words...：简化你刚才说的话。
- To put it differently...：提供另一个角度。
优雅地转回主题
如果你偏离了话题，下面的表达能帮你回到主旨：
- But coming back to the main point...：明确回归主题。
- That said...：自然过渡。
- Anyway, what I really wanted to say was...：顺畅地转回重点。
提示：uh 和 um 这样的犹豫声很正常；但用这些表达代替它们，会让你显得更从容。中文学习者练习英语即兴表达时，可以先熟记几句，再在真实对话中灵活运用。

- Let me think about that...请求一点时间思考
- What I'm trying to say is...思路中断时重新表述
- Off the top of my head...在不确定时即兴回答
- But coming back to the main point离题后回到主题
- If I'm not mistaken...即兴表达时谨慎地引出观点
- To put it another way...重新表述观点，以争取时间并保持连贯
- I hadn't considered that angle, but...承认意料之外的角度，同时保持表达主动
常见错误
I think that... how to say...What I'm trying to say is...英语里不应逐字翻译‘怎么说’；应使用有结构的改述。
Let me elaborate on this topic more furtherLet me elaborate on thisMore further 语义重复；elaborate 本身已经表示详细展开。
I will make a tangent hereI'll go off on a tangent here英语里不用 make a tangent；惯用表达是 go off on a tangent。
On the top of my headOff the top of my head正确的介词是 off，不是 on；这是固定表达。
I don't know how to say this but basically it's like...What I'm getting at is...堆叠 I don’t know、basically 和 like 等犹豫语会显得缺乏自信；C1 使用者应采用更优雅的争取时间结构。
Sorry, I lost my thread. Where was I?To circle back to my earlier point...直接说自己失去思路会显得不够自然；更好的方法是改述后自然回到主要话题。
