英语的比较级
比较两样东西时，英语用比较级。
中文说「这部电影比第一部好笑」，形容词「好笑」本身一点不变，全靠一个「比」字；英语正好相反——要变的是形容词，而不是加一个连接词。
短形容词（单音节）→ 加 -er + than
- big → bigger than → 比……大
- fast → faster than → 比……快
- old → older than → 比……老
This film is funnier than the first one. → 这部电影比第一部好笑。
长形容词（两个音节以上）→ more + 形容词 + than
- interesting → more interesting than → 比……有意思
- exciting → more exciting than → 比……刺激
- beautiful → more beautiful than → 比……美
The documentary is more interesting than the comedy. → 这部纪录片比那部喜剧有意思。
不规则的比较级
- good → better than → 比……好
- bad → worse than → 比……差
- far → further / farther than → 比……远
The sequel is better than the original. → 续集比原作好看。
两种方式不能叠加：已经加了 -er，或者用了 better，就不能再加 more。
表示相同：as + 形容词 + as
This film is as good as the book. → 这部电影和书一样好。

常见错误
This film is more betterThis film is betterbetter 本身就是 good 的比较级，前面不能再加 more。
The book is more good than the filmThe book is better than the filmgood 的比较级是不规则的 better，没有 more good 这种说法。
It is funnier that the first oneIt is funnier than the first one比较级后面用 than，不是 that。
The film is most interestingThe film is more interestingmost 用于最高级；两者相比要用 more。
The film was more longer than I expectedThe film was longer than I expectedlonger 已经是比较级，不用再加 more。
It's the worse film I've ever seenIt's the worst film I've ever seenbad 的最高级是 worst，worse 只是比较级。
