  Toch is the natural Dutch way to seek confirmation, not ja at the end.

• ✗Ik heb het gedaan (flat).
  ✓Ik heb het wel gedaan.

  Without wel, the sentence lacks the emphatic contradiction of a negative assumption.

• ✗Het is toch niet te geloven.
  ✓Dat is toch niet te geloven!

  Dat (not het) is the correct demonstrative when referring to a situation.

• ✗Dat wist je toch niet?
  ✓Dat wist je toch?

  Adding niet changes meaning: toch alone = right? / toch niet = you didn't, did you?

• ✗Het is wel goed (as refusal).
  ✓Het is wel goed (as acceptance).

  Wel goed means it IS fine (conceding), not it is NOT fine. Context and tone matter.
