Describing your symptoms Use 我 + symptom directly:
- 我发烧了。— I have a fever. (了 marks a new situation)
- 我咳嗽。— I am coughing.
- 我感冒了。— I caught a cold.
Saying you are sick
- 我病了。— I am sick.
- 我不舒服。— I feel unwell.
At the doctor The doctor will examine you: 我来检查一下 — Let me take a look. Common questions:
- 你哪里不舒服？— Where do you feel unwell?
- 你发烧吗？— Do you have a fever?
The doctor's advice
- 你要吃药。— You need to take medicine.
- 你要多休息。— You should rest a lot.
- 不严重。— It is not serious.
表达
- 我发烧了。I have a fever.
- 我感冒了。I caught a cold.
- 我咳嗽。I am coughing.
- 我不舒服。I do not feel well.
- 你哪里不舒服？Where do you feel unwell?
- 不严重。It is not serious.
- 你要吃药。You need to take medicine.
- 你要多休息。You should rest a lot.
常见错误
我有发烧我发烧了Do not use 有 with 发烧. Use 了 to mark the onset of fever.
我是感冒我感冒了Do not use 是 with illness — use 了 to mark a new state.
我吃了药很多我吃了很多药Quantity 很多 must come directly before the noun 药.
你不严重不严重When giving a general assessment, omit the subject.
我要看医生生我要看医生医生 is the correct word — do not repeat characters.
