The に Particle — Direction
The particle に marks the direction or destination of movement:
💬 Example: "ひだりに まがって ください" → "Please turn left"
- みぎに まがって ください → Please turn right
- まっすぐ いって ください → Please go straight
Giving Directions with ください
Combine a verb in て-form with ください to give polite directions:
- まがって ください → Please turn
- わたって ください → Please cross
- いって ください → Please go
Location words
Use these to describe where something is:
- 〜の となり → next to ~
- 〜の まえ → in front of ~
- 〜の うしろ → behind ~
💬 Example: "ぎんこうの となりです" → "It's next to the bank"
