よくある間違い

  英語では接頭辞は"un-"（unacceptable）です。"in-"ではありません。

• ✗The company has a conflict of interests
  ✓The company has a conflict of interest

  固定表現は"conflict of interest"（単数形）です。複数の利害が関わっていても同じです。

• ✗He did a misconduct
  ✓He committed misconduct

  "Misconduct"は英語では不可算名詞です。"a misconduct"とは言いません。

• ✗The whistleblower has been fired for denounce
  ✓...for denouncing the fraud

  前置詞（for）の後は動名詞（-ing）を使います。原形は使いません。

• ✗The company behaved in an unethical way by hiding the facts.
  ✓The company acted unethically by hiding the facts.

  動詞actedと副詞unethicallyを使う方が自然で、in an unethical wayは冗長です。

• ✗He was accused for fraud.
  ✓He was accused of fraud.

  accusedの後の前置詞はforではなく常にofです。
