時間をつなぐ言葉（Time Connectors）
物語を話すとき、出来事の順番を示す言葉が必要だよ。
基本のつなぎ言葉
- First → まず / 最初に
- Then / Next → それから / 次に
- After that → その後
- Finally → 最後に / ついに
💬 例: "First, I woke up late. Then I had breakfast. After that, I went to the shop. Finally, I met my friend."
予想外の出来事に
- Suddenly → 突然
💬 例: "I was walking in the park. Suddenly, it started to rain!" → 「公園を歩いていた。突然、雨が降り始めた！」
同時・前後の出来事に
- While → 〜している間に（同時）
- Before → 〜の前に
- Earlier → さっき
- Later → 後で
💬 例: "While I was cooking, the phone rang." → 「料理をしている間に、電話が鳴った。」
上手に話すコツ
いろいろなつなぎ言葉を使って、話をもっと面白くしよう。"then, then, then" だけだと単調になるよ！
表現

よくある間違い
After I went home then I ateAfter I went home, I ateafterの後にthenは不要。意味が重複するよ
First I go to school yesterdayFirst I went to school yesterday過去の話には過去形を使う（goではなくwent）
Suddenly it was rainingSuddenly it started rainingsuddenlyは瞬間を表す → started（始まった）が自然
While I cooked the phone rangWhile I was cooking, the phone rangwhileの後は進行形（was cooking）を使う
I was walking when I fallI was walking when I fell「when」の後は過去形が必要です（「fall」ではなく「fell」）
While I cooked, the phone rangWhile I was cooking, the phone rang「while」では過去進行形を使います（「was cooking」）
