Making an appointment in Italian
Combining day and time
In Italian, you say the day + "alle" + the time:
- lunedì alle 10 → Monday at 10
- venerdì alle 15:30 → Friday at 3:30 pm
- martedì mattina → Tuesday morning
Asking about availability
- È libero/a lunedì? → Are you free on Monday?
- Ha un appuntamento disponibile? → Do you have an available slot?
- Quando è disponibile? → When are you available?
Confirming and cancelling
- Confermo l'appuntamento → I confirm the appointment
- Devo annullare l'appuntamento → I need to cancel the appointment
- Posso rimandare a venerdì? → Can I postpone to Friday?
Making a doctor's appointment
- Vorrei un appuntamento dal dottore → I would like a doctor's appointment
- Per quando? → For when?
- Va bene giovedì? → Is Thursday okay?
