La scrittura persuasiva in neerlandese unisce argomentazione logica e abilità retorica. Al livello C1 devi costruire argomenti che reggano un esame critico.

Struttura dell'argomentazione: 1. *Stelling* (tesi): enunciala con chiarezza: *De overheid dient meer te investeren in onderwijs.* 2. *Argumenten* (argomenti): *Ten eerste... Ten tweede... Ten derde...* 3. *Onderbouwing* (supporto): fatti, statistiche, pareri di esperti 4. *Weerlegging* (confutazione): *Critici beweren dat..., maar...* 5. *Conclusie* (conclusione): *Derhalve... / Al met al...*

Figure retoriche:

Domanda retorica: *Willen wij werkelijk in zo'n samenleving leven?*
Tricolon: *Het is onrechtvaardig, onverantwoord en onaanvaardbaar.*
Appello all'autorità: *Zoals professor De Vries betoogt...*

Fallacie da evitare: *de drogreden* — *ad hominem* (attaccare la persona), *stroman* (uomo di paglia), *vals dilemma* (falso dilemma), *beroep op emotie* (appello all'emozione).

Chiamata all'azione: chiudi con forza: *Het is aan ons om nu te handelen.* (Sta a noi agire ora.) *Laten we niet langer wachten.* (Non aspettiamo oltre.)
